It is a creamy, rich but mild cheese, and has the good melting characteristics of Dew-Lay Lancashire. Usage: Garstang Blue Lancashire has the same cooking characteristics as our creamy Lancashire (melting qualities etc). It is superb for crumbling into salads, pastas and soups. It also matches well with sauces and dressings based with honey, white wine, cream or butter. All the cheeses are available in 20kg Block, 10kg Wheel , 5kg Wheel, 5kg Block, 2.5kg Block, 2.5kg Wheel and in Pre-packed 200g (12 per case) and Pre-packed 400g (6 per case). We also supply in grated cheese and sliced cheese. It also matches well with sauces and dressings based with honey, white wine, cream or butter.

Garstang Blue Lancashire is designed to appeal to those who otherwise find blue cheese a little too ferocious and spicy. It is for those who prefer softer, milder tones, as it has a smooth, creamy texture and taste.
